Plugin's name: pop3 mail checker

this plugin would enable the user to enter their email address and password and check interval into the widget's user settings. the widget would then also check for new (unread) mail and display the total in the users inbox. whenever a check is made, and unread mail found, a sound notification chosen by the user (in the widget's user settings) could be played (i have these available for use by the plugin).
