Vazco: Adding links to headers and tabbed nav to homepage widgets

I have my homepage nearly there, thanks to Vazco_mainpage and this forum. But still learning. What file do I need to edit to add links to the headings of my widgets? Right now, only VIDEOS is linked to the videos page which I'm assuming is because it's pulling from the Izap videos plug-in. I'd also like to customize the names above the widgets: (Connect, Watch, Read, Feed instead of Groups, Videos, Blogs, Activity)

Finally - I'd ideally like to stack the widgets and have them display in a tabbed nav. Does anyone have a code example or suggestion for achieving this? Tabbed nav example

Spitfire, you can take code of tabbed nav from elgg_tabbed_nav (I think it's used on group overview page).

You can modify content of widgets in views/default/vazco_mainapge/widgets/widgetname. If you want titles to link to content, you can place links to this content in title field of widgets in array in start.php

I tried modifying the title in views/default/vazco_mainapge/widgets/widgetname but nothing happens. It must be pulling from elsewhere.

Spitfire, please make sure to disable caching. In case you use ano of our newer plugins, you can also put ?debug=1 in your URL and it will display paths to views. If you display main page this way, you'll easily find where the code for given parts of the site is placed.
