Hi All,

I am new to this site and very supportive. I hope to build a strong community here. And I thank the developer for all his hard work.

I have one error to report:

Elgg v1.7 is giving me errors for many of the existing plug-ins. Errors found include: vazco_forum, quote of the day, and others with form. Error is: Form is missing __token or __ts fields.

This problem does not occur for my v1.6 site. (Thusly not the plug-in, but something with Elgg v1.7 vs. the plug-in). I am a novice, need help.

Carlitos,

the vazco_forum plugin should run with the Elgg 1.7 without token mismatch. Do you use the latest version of the plugin? Where are you receiving this error exactly?

Two weeks ago I was running on v1.1 and elgg 1.7. I see there's another user who posted the same issue regarding token mismatch, so i wasn't the only one..

So, basically according to the other user there's v1.2 so I am going to give that a try.

I am getting other issues with links messing up the forum. But I guess it won't be believed until another user posts the same issue?

Also,

When deleting a forum that contains topics, when clicking "delete" the immediate error is "404 not found." when the user backs out of the 404 (hitting back button) THEN the red popup said "...please delete topic before deleting forum" (paraphrasing).

so the 404 not found shouldn't appear--should just popup about deleting topics first before deleting forum.

Actually, I can suggest an ehancement that admin CAN actually delete the entire forum AND all the topics, too. It's like deleting a folder and all the subfolders get deleted. Because think about it--if one clicks "Delete" for the FORUM they intend to remove the forum irrespective of how many topics are there, right? The admin wants the FORUM gone so who cares if there are topics? So the correct feature should be allowing admin to delete the entire FORUM (like deleting parent directory) with the standard warnng "are you sure?" and if "Yes" then delete the forum and all subsequent topics.

It may be that I'm using the 'demo' version right now, but when I try to reply to a forum, I get the "token error" mentioned above also.

Elgg 1.7

I'm adding here that it happens when I 'save' the reply.

I'm interested in the FULL version of the forum, I know the demo has limitations - I'm also looking at the length of time a 'support' reply is returned.
